For more than 30 years, our CEO has organized a group exhibition of art, the “Aperitif Exhibition” at Harajuku Gallery. Thanks to your support, the group has been joined by a wide variety of artists and individuals from the general public. Each year, we are pleased to exhibit a wide variety of wonderful and diverse works of art. This exhibition celebrated its 32nd anniversary in 2024.
The purpose of hosting this group exhibition of art, “Aperitif Exhibition,” is to support local culture and art and to contribute to the promotion of cultural diversity by providing opportunities for the public to view the works of each artist. In addition, through the activities of the “Aperitif Exhibition,” we aim to contribute to cultural enrichment and understanding by providing opportunities to experience great art and culture to as wide a range of people as possible, not limited to the Harajuku/Omotesando area.
With a sense of responsibility as the organizer, we will continue to provide opportunities for a wide variety of artists and individuals to exhibit their diverse and wonderful works.
We will continue to support the culture and arts that are rich in personality and will continue our activities to promote the “realization of a free and rich society” that is full of creativity.
☆ Below are examples of the works that were exhibited (with explanations), with permission from the authors.
This work depicts a man and a woman cuddling under the theme of “love.” This work symbolizes the power of love to unite people, and expresses that caring for and supporting each other across borders leads to a desire for peace. Beyond mere emotional exchange, it symbolizes understanding and empathy. It expresses the hope that peace will come to the world through the spread of an attitude of love, not envy or strife. We hope that through the painting, the viewer will also feel the deep meaning of love.
